I grew up with a mother who loved music and encouraged us to learn it and to love it. Starting with piano lessons, moving to accordian, when we moved and couldn't take the piano, and eventually teaching myself guitar so I could make up the songs that rolled around in my head. Music to me is another language, and promotes my "Classical" thinking at times. It is forever soothing and such a great source of joy when I am working in my studio.
